The Fritz Hansen 3107 Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen and its four-legged stacking chair can be seen as the culmination of the process of layer bonding, which was perfected in the 20s and 30s by Søren Hansen, the grandson of company founder Fritz Hansen. The visionary Arne Jacobsen fully exploited the possibilities of layering in creating the legendary figure of this chair.
