Modern minimalism in Sao Paulo

Written by Stella Peeters in

With a chic suburban setting in Sao Paulo, it would be a shame to waste the sunshine by failing to capitalize on outside space. However, this doesn’t mean a sprawling villa development with acres of garden, as this minimalist project by METRO Arquitetos demonstrates.

This architectural marvel boasts an array of four towers, each of different heights, linked together by connecting bridges made of striking glass. A multitude of terraces and compact gardens are arranged inside and out, effortlessly merging interiors and exteriors.

Despite the heavy application of concrete, this building maintains a light and airy aesthetic, without the interiors feeling overlooked. The sprawling first floor is used to its full potential, housing three spacious bedrooms each with their own en suite, while higher levels play host to an innovative living area and office space.
