Halle A by Designliga

Written by Olivia Janssen in

When you run a design agency, you will understand that having your own studio is your ultimate calling card – the showpiece of your designs. At least, this is what Designliga did, an agency for visual communication and interior design in Munich. The agency moved into Halle A, formerly a workshop in the municipality of Munich, and they did not want to lose the industrial character of the 10.4 metre high hall. At the same time, they were also keen to create a certain intimacy, which their employees would hopefully feel in their new workplace.

After consultations with employees, the final design of the property and its furnishings were decided. Two houses with sloping roofs were placed in the hall, recalling the atmosphere of a village square. Around these cottages are now work zones created, just like on the two floors inside the houses. The colour scheme reflects the materials and textures of the industrial site in which the hall is located. Designliga works for clients in the areas of consumer and luxury goods, but also in the fashion industry, environmental protection and culture.
