The Can sofa of the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY is a design that goes beyond the creation of a practical, elegant and comfortable design. The intention is to revive the whole idea of the sofa, from something that is inherently complicated, to create something simple, relaxed and accessible. The sofa is simply packaged and can be assembled at home comfortably from three basic elements – frames, covers and cushions.
