Inspired by the work of famous interior designers such as Pierre Chareau and Carlo Scarpa, Rodolphe Parente decided to study interior design and product design. He studied at Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts of Dijo, Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne.

Rodolphe Parente is in constant pursuit for sense of detail, savoir-faire and quality of construction. In order to touch the right tone for his creations, Rodolphe places the user at the center of an artistic process expressing emotions through the quality of drawing. His designs are inspired by everyday life and an intimate mixture of textures and artistic feelings.

Villa Noailles

The Jogging pop-up store setup created for the 30th International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères at the Villa Noailles has been designed with Jean-Baptiste Fastrez, designer. There is an expressive, contextual and monochromatic signature through raw materials that are tile adhesive, white PVC and light. The result evokes the macro structure of a fabric, a gesture or a fast but sophisticated brush stroke. There is a strong opposition between smooth and rough. A craftsman from the Villa Noailles has elaborated this contrasted method in order to create double skin façade and an expressive and “Arte Povera” inspired setting. The technical gesture that is usually not visible turns into an artistic gesture and the gluing surface proves to be decorative.
