In the Lito series, designer Stephan Schulz deals with the convergence of steel and concrete and combines both materials to create the Lito 1 concrete stool, a compact stool specially designed for small surfaces. The concrete shells designed by him and the two convex and concave side tables of the Lito series already show the versatility of this natural material. Instead of emphasising statics, the stool combines dynamism and strength and thus contributes to the good reputation of concrete as a multifunctional building material for furniture. Weatherproof, robust and versatile, Lito 1 works as a single object, as well as in a group together with the Sinus table. And in foyers, corridors and reception areas, it is a striking fire-resistant piece of furniture.
