The Tolomeo Lettura by Artemide, designed in 1987 by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, has already won several international design awards and is thus one of the classics of reading lamps. The variably adjustable arm made of shiny aluminium with an ingenious spring balancing system, as well as the luminaire head made of satin-finished aluminium that can be rotated in all directions, ensure maximum flexibility. The luminaire is particularly suitable for areas where there is a lot of reading – next to the armchair or sofa, at the bed or workplace. In addition to the directional reading light, a discreet light output is created through an opening in the luminaire head. The switch is located on the luminaire head. The Tolomeo Lettura can be switched on and off comfortably while sitting. Timeless, elegant design and functionality meet in this luminaire.
