Vedbaek House III

Written by Anne-Marie den Hertog in

With the description ‘A house full of contrasts’ Norm.Architects hits the nail exactly on the proverbial head. The formerly dark 1853 Vedbaek beach house has been transformed by Norm.Architects into a light-filled, spacious house.

Everything seems to flow, thanks to the beautiful, polished concrete flooring that connects almost all rooms. Classic elements meet natural materials in a way that is a hallmark of Norm.Architects, who know how to draw their inspiration from heritage and from traditional standards.

The interior of Vedbaek House III is both timeless and extremely comfortable; aesthetically pleasing without coldness. It is a wonderful reconstruction that fully exploits the potential of the beach house.
