A romantic touch keeps it cosy

Plenty of effort has gone into ensuring this apartment feels both contemporary and lived in. The designers have gone to great lengths to deliver a space that’s incredibly liveable, with bags of character and eye-catching touches that never take away from the practicality of this apartment.

The main living area presents a challenge, with double aspect entrances and a relatively small amount of floorspace. That being said, it hits all the right marks. Shelving has and storage has been kept to a minimum, with the more cumbersome pieces moved to the corners so not to invade the main space. This leaves more than enough square footage for a small dining area at one side of the room, with ample seating space and a full-sized designer sofa at the other. This expert utilisation of space continues throughout the rest of the apartment, with the small kitchen using wall-mounted storage, leaving enough room for a small breakfast dining area.

The colour palette is cool and neutral, with off white shades and subtle greys. Dynamic fabrics, the odd ornate fixture and bold shots of green from plants provide an undercurrent of colour throughout every room. Designer furniture has also been used whenever possible to ensure a real sense of personality runs through every room of this home.
