In the bustling heart of Berlin you’ll find this stunning 5* boutique apartment. By using a mix of modern and vintage furnishings its eclectic design is a true homage to Berlin’s creative diversity.
After buying the place Gary Lin asked the help of two talented Berlin-based designers Annabell Kutucu and Michael Schickinger to make it more unique. Gary tells about their assignment: “The apartment layout was already defined. We gave them two main directions: to represent the new Berlin and to create a fun but subtle style“.
Various objects from different directions were collected mostly from Belgian and French flea markets and designer shops, like the black disco ball and the boxing bag. In the living room a large leather Artifort lounge chair invites you to relax by the cosy fireplace. On the ceiling drawings are projected, which beautifully mix with written quotes from the song “Heroes” by David Bowie, a song he wrote when he lived in Berlin. “It is such a pleasure to see the space evolving with its guests. Everybody leaves a footprint such as a Polaroid on the wall or a self written cookbook.” explains Alexandra Lichtenberg, director of NOMADS APT.
