Fifty shades of grey in Stockholm

Written by Stella Peeters in

Grey doesn’t have to be drab, as this Stockholm apartment instantly proves. The interior decor and basic components have been finished in varying shades of grey and dark blues, with coordinating furnishings including the popular Beetle lounge chair and hanging Flos IC lamp suspended above the dining table.

Situated in the popular district of Vasastan – known affectionately by locals as ‘Little Paris’, this apartment offers 64 square metres of living space, but every inch has been used to maximum effect. Every corner has been lovingly restored, with breath-taking attention to detail. Aside from the expertly picked colours and furnishings, further character has been stamped to the place courtesy of the impressive wooden floor, boasting a stunning herringbone pattern.

Natural light floods the kitchen thanks to a well-placed window, while slick finishes like the white marble and matt black faucet and sink add further character. Every last fixture and fitting has been painstakingly decided upon, ensuring an ideal complement to the rest of the apartment for a seamless sense of synergy.
