Amsterdam Loft by UXUS

This exceptionally interesting loft is situated in a sugar warehouse built in 1763. UXUS designed this luxurious open plan apartment located on one of Amsterdam’s famous canals.

The interior of the loft had remained in its original state for almost 250 years and the owners wanted to keep as much intact with as little intervention to the space as possible. A series of dramatic curtain walls of luxururious Italian linen were created to maintain the open space. What exactly stands out the most is an surreal collection of skulls, bones, animals and scientific instruments. The detailing is wonderful, every item is an obvious work of art and instantly recognizable too.

We love every aspect of UXUS’ vision and their sense of creating this almost museum home with artistic flair.
